Today.....6 months have gone by since this long journey began and through it, alot of roads have been traveled, lots of scenery looked upon, lots of miles have gone by, lots of new friendships made, lots of praying and thinking has been going on and through it all.....God has been so good. There are absolutely no words that I can say that would describe His greatness. I know He has held our hands and has kept us safe through it all and I know that He will continue to guide us to. Though the devil has fought us and has thrown tons of fiery darts at us...we are still here as a family. A family that has had their ups and downs, a family that has spent a lot of time int he valley and also a family that no matter what...still loves each other.
O.k. now on to the other story...lol...we are here in Roanoke today at the Hem/Onc Clinic for yesterdays labs showed that Heavens RBC and H&H were in, what the medical field deems, "critical state". Her RBC was 2.34 (normal is 4.1 to 5.1), her Hemoglobin was 6.7 (normal is 12 to 16), & her Hematacrits were 18.7 (normal is 36 to 46) so, we are here and Heaven will be getting 2 blood transfusions and Lord willing they will give her body the boost that it needs so it can start producing more healthy blood cells. Heaven has and is a strong little girl and has fought a fight that no child should ever have to fight, but with her spirit and with her Saviour Jesus Christ, they both have amazed so many people here at the hospital as to how well she had done thus far, even though there have been several bumps in the road.
Now, as every other time, we would still like to thank all the prayer warriors out there that have been continually praying for Heaven and our family and we ask that you please continue to pray for us as the road is still long and there are many more miles that have yet to be traveled. To all who have sent cards and gifts to Heaven...thank you for it has lifted her spirits just to know that there are still people in this world that cares for others. Thank you all for your continued encouragement and for all the chat that you may have thought wasn't much, but it meant the world to me. For everyone that has been there.....thank you, to all who have fought.....keep fighting, for those to weak to go on.....may Christ be with you. For all of the "Silent Hero's".....stay strong for your sibling needs your strength and love.
I pray that my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ will keep His loving hand upon you all and will bless you all as you have been such a blessing to us. <3 to all.
