Happy Valentines Day....Clinic Visit

‎2-14-12.....Happy valentines Day everyone. Myself, Heaven and Samantha are getting ready to leave for Roanoke, we are going to stop for a VD breakfast and then after that we are heading to the Hem/Onc Clinic for Heaven to receive her blood transfushion. Please pray that we have safe travels. Last night Heaven turned really pale due to the low oxygen in her blood (hemoglobins 6.6) and I sorta kept a vigil on her through the night. Please continue to pray for a full recovery so Heaven can go out and play in the yard like she wants to. Thanks a love ♥ to you all.

 After 10 hours at the Clinic we were finally able to head home. First off when we got there, they had a couple unexpected patients, then the drew blood from Heaven so they could get blood from the blood bank, then they had to change her dressing and apply EMLA cream (numbing agent) for an hour and during this time we were waiting on the blood which altogether took almost 2 hours, then she had to receive 2 pints to get her through, and I asked that they only give her 1/2 a benadryl....they did and it still knocked her out for more than 3 hours. We finally got to leave at about 6:45 and we made it home around 8 p.m.
The home nurse is going to draw labs again on Thursday and Dr. Edwards seems to think she will be able to return on Monday to start her Chemo. Her ANC needs to be a 1000 or more and her platelets needs to be 75 or more. Just keep praying. ♥

Also, while at the Clinic Heaven was able to hang out with Beth and Emily for a little while...we took pics but I will upload them tomorrow. They had fun chatting with each other today. :)
